In what spelt as a measure of relief amongst the extraordinary situation arising out of Covid – 19 Pandemic, which seems to be spreading its icy hands, forcing all to stay indoors, our Principal Mrs. A. Deane exhorted us all to come ahead braving all storms and stand on the online platform and hone our skills together with our beloved students.
Soon, everything seemed to fall into place with the regular teaching-learning and all queries of the inquisitive minds being put to rest. As the great strides wee being made in getting students access to the internet at home, all were encouraged under the able guidance of our Principal to come forward and organize and participate in the usual extra –curricular activities as well, part of the curriculum. April 22, being Earth Day, the Arts teacher Mrs. U. Andrews encouraged the children of classes VI to VIII to draw posters related to the theme and show love and display solidarity with Mother Nature.
Labour Day
In the wake of Labour Day or May Day on 1st May a recitation competition was conducted by the Kindergarten for the tiny tots. A competition for the same has been conducted for all classes from second to twelfth. A `drawing` depicting `Labour Day` has to be made by classes II to V, classes Vi to VIII are to make cards while classes IX to XII are to make pouters (any size, any medium of colour and waste material etc) The prize winning entries will be posted on the school`s website and rewarded once the school reopens.
