FOUNDERS` DAY OF AGRA DIOCESE
A Special Assembly was conducted on 9th April 2022 to celebrate the Founders` Day of the Agra Diocese.
Mrs. Shweta Madhup gave an insight about the history of the Church of North India. The Agra Diocese is the governing body which is running all the Educational Institutions and churches in forty places in the western Uttar Pradesh and the Uttarakhand Region.
The Church of North India was born on 29th November 1970 at `All Saints Cathedral` in Nagpur. The six denominations came to a common agreement. The Diocese of Agra is an Anglican Diocese under the Church of North India which looks after the Schools and Education via the Diocesan Education Board. The Board is registered under the Act No. XXI/1860 of the of the Societies Act, Uttar Pradesh by Registrar of Societies, UP, Lucknow.
STEMS is an unaided Christian Institution owned and governed by the Diocese of Agra. It is a Pro-life oriented venture in Education, making it one of its kinds, keeping in mind the changing need of the society with its Logo - `Love One Another`.
A special song `Thank You Lord` reverberated into the air as the school choir sang it most enthusiastically.
Mrs. Shubra Lyall explained the significance of the Agra Diocesan Logo and the CNI Logo as the children displayed beautifully made Posters of the same on stage.
